AC-Power Set 1 

This standalone complete package works independently of the public electricity grid and provides a very efficient and inexpensive 230V AC power supply for everyday electrical appliances.
 

Design and function of AC-Power Set 1: 

The four components solar generator, inverter, charge controller and battery are the core of AC Power Set 1. 

The PV electricity generated by the solar generator is stored in the battery via the Steca charge controller. This also has the task of protecting the battery against deep discharge or overcharging. Consequently, the intelligent charging technology guarantees a long battery life.

The AC voltage needed for the electrical appliances is supplied by the Steca inverter, which provides the generated PV electricity from the solar generator or the battery directly to a 230V AC output. 

The existing package is designed on the basis of the inverter so that the system can be extended at any time by adding another solar module. The system can thus be extended to a nominal output of 225Wp with no problem whatsoever. 

Available energy with AC Power Set 1 

The yield from a PV installation depends to a large extent on its location. Because of the weather during the winter months in Central Europe the system does not provide a constant energy output. The situation is different if the system is operated in a region with more sunlight. 

When the system is operated without any electrical appliances connected, the power generated by the solar generator is stored in the battery. The maximum power in the battery is 450 Wh (available power at 50% max. charge).
