Solar Tower, Heilbronn, Germany
The solar tower on the grounds of Heilbronn chamber of trade's training and technology centre went into operation in April 2001.
160 CIS modules with the dimensions 60 x 120 cm and 60 x 40 cm were integrated into the façade of the tower. They provide a total output of 8 kWp.
The modules were installed as 16 strings each with 10 parallel connected CIS modules.
16 inverters, each with a maximum output of 800 Wp, complete the installation.
